Ah, la moda!
The superstructures in the field of clothing have become quite numerous.
The world of clothing seems determined to tackle this problem by providing more and more options at an increasingly faster pace.
“Che sbatti!”
UNOTRE has decided to say enough. That’s why it has created its manifesto for liberation from the complications of dressing for _______ (e.g., “meeting a client,” “taking an exam,” “finding yourself in an unexpected special military operation,” “going for an aperitivo at a place with a wide selection of natural wines,” “NOT doing sports”).
It’s a universal garment that frees you from responsibility, uncertainty, judgment from those who still follow fashion, organizational issues, and stylistic dilemmas—just by wearing it.
It’s UNOTRE Tenuta.
UNOTRE Tenuta is universal for several reasons.
Universal aesthetic
UNOTRE Tenuta draws inspiration from the great tradition of workwear—born on the runways but now widely accepted even for actual work.
Infinite customization
Thanks to the MOLLE system, UNOTRE Tenuta can be customized with pockets, hooks, and carabiners, allowing it to adapt to any function.
Guaranteed durability
Over time, it will become more and more yours. But if it breaks, you can have it repaired—for free for the first time, and at a super reasonable price after that.
Il sistema MOLLE
Microwave: originally designed to help soldiers detect enemies using radar. Now you use it to cook eggs (but without the shell, unless you want a disaster).
Internet: created for exchanging highly classified military intel on top-secret missions. Now you use it to pretend to work or hook up.
Duct tape: Invented to seal weapon magazines during World War II. Now you use it to seal packages of stuff you shouldn’t have bought in the first place.
MOLLE: In an era where military aesthetics are back in fashion (ah, the fashion™), leaving little space for those who prefer to stay civilian, UNOTRE celebrates MOLLE technology—the same system the military uses to attach bombs, guns, and firecrackers—by applying it to Tenuta so you can hang useless junk and useful things, but mostly useless junk.
A mythological fabric
The fabric of UNOTRE Tenuta is made by Candiani Denim using 100% post-industrial recycled cotton, recovered from the fibers inevitably lost during the production process.
Its other features include:
- A plant-based sizing agent, biodegradable and non-toxic, replacing harmful chemicals and PVA, resulting in a dyeing process free of microplastics.
- An innovative finishing technique, where foam interacts with the fabric’s color saturation, creating a bright, unconventional gradient—in this case, a medium indigo with a red undertone.
- A loose weave with a salt-and-pepper effect and a 3×1 right-hand twill construction.
If you don’t know what denim is here’s Alberto Candiani, president of Candiani Denim, explaining it:
Wearing Tenuta
Before its official release, UNOTRE Tenuta was previewed by a test group of five human beings. The trial took place in natural, urban, and domestic environments. The Tenuta samples were customized with patches and MOLLE accessories to suit the individual wearing them.
The humans wearing Tenuta were subjected to controlled social interactions and stimulated in ways that allowed them to reach a moderate level of awareness.
All five participants successfully completed the cycle, and today report outfit-related anxiety levels well below the threshold of clinical relevance.

The patches
Dressing the same doesn’t mean dressing the same.
UNOTRE Tenuta encourages wearers to personalize their garment through the application of patches.
You can now purchase a selection, including some designed with the humans who first wore Tenuta.
